The NXP MPXHZ6130A6U is a board-mount absolute pressure sensor in the MPXHZ6130A series, delivering a ratiometric analog voltage output proportional to applied pressure. It covers 15 kPa to 130 kPa (2.18 PSI to 18.85 PSI) with a ±1.5% accuracy across the span. The output swings from 0.2 V at zero pressure to 4.8 V at full scale, so it connects directly to a 5 V ADC without external amplification. The no-port, surface-mount 8-SOIC wide body (7.50 mm width) with gull-wing leads is a standard reflow footprint.
Supply rail and signal chain
The 0.2 V to 4.8 V output leaves headroom at both rails, so a 5 V ADC with a 0 V to 5 V input range captures the full span without clipping. No external amplifier is needed — the output is a clean analog voltage ready for the converter.
