This is an 8-bit S08 core running at 20 MHz, with 4 KB of on-chip Flash program memory and 256 bytes of RAM. On-chip peripherals include a 4-channel 10-bit ADC, plus LVD, POR, PWM, and WDT blocks. Connectivity covers I²C, SCI (UART), and SPI — enough to talk to a temperature sensor, a small display, or a serial EEPROM without external glue logic. The internal oscillator means no external crystal is needed for most applications.
