Automotive-grade dual-bit level shifter in a 16-TSSOP footprint
It operates across a supply range of 0.8V to 3.6V, making it suitable for mixed-voltage interfaces such as 1.8V to 3.3V or 2.5V to 3.3V translation commonly found in automotive ECUs, ADAS sensor modules, and body-control units. Each of the two elements handles two bits with independent direction control, and the 3-state outputs allow bus sharing without contention.
The 12mA output drive (both high and low) is sufficient for driving short PCB traces and logic inputs on adjacent modules, though longer harness runs or high-capacitance loads would need a bus buffer downstream.
Supply flexibility from 0.8V to 3.6V
The supply range spans 0.8V to 3.6V, which covers all common core and I/O voltages used in modern automotive microcontrollers and sensors: 1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V. No external level-shifter or voltage divider is needed when bridging these domains, which saves board area and reduces BOM count. The dual-bit-per-element architecture allows two independent translation channels in one package.
