48 MHz Cortex-M0+ in a 5×5 mm QFN — what it buys you
The NXP MKL04Z32VFM4 is a Kinetis KL0 series 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ MCU running at 48 MHz, with 32 KB Flash and 4 KB RAM. The 14-channel 12-bit ADC samples multiple analog inputs without an external mux.
Package and assembly
Housed in a 32-VFQFN (5×5 mm) with wettable flanks. The 28 I/O are enough for a small keypad, a few LEDs, and a couple of serial buses.
For a BOM freeze, that means you are not scrambling for a replacement mid-production run.
