SYNCBURST™ 8 Mbit SRAM — 512K x 18, 4 ns access, 133 MHz
The Micron MT58L512L18PS-7.5TR is a 8 Mbit synchronous burst SRAM from the SYNCBURST™ family, organized as 512K words by 18 bits. It delivers a 4 ns access time and operates at a 133 MHz clock frequency, making it suitable for high-speed cache, tag RAM, and buffer memory in networking, telecom, and server applications. The parallel interface and 3.135 V supply voltage target designs that need deterministic, low-latency memory without the refresh overhead of DRAM.
Memory organization and peer comparison
The 512K x 18 organization is a narrower, deeper alternative to the 256K x 36 MT58L256L36PS-7.5TR and the 256K x 32 MT58L256L32PS-6. Where a design needs a 36-bit or 32-bit data bus, those siblings match the width directly. The MT58L512L18PS-7.5TR fits when the system bus is 18 bits wide or when two devices are paired to build a 36-bit data path with double the depth.
Temperature grade and deployment environment
