1 Kbit serial EEPROM for calibration and configuration storage
The Microchip 93C46BT-I/SN is a 1 Kbit serial EEPROM organized as 64 x 16 bits, accessed through a 2 MHz Microwire interface.
The 2 MHz clock rate on the Microwire interface yields a raw bit rate of 2 Mbps. For a 16-bit word read or write, the bus transaction completes in roughly 8 µs plus the 2 ms write cycle time. That write cycle is the throughput bottleneck — the part is suited for infrequent writes (calibration updates, parameter saves) rather than streaming data logging.
