The 1206L380SLTHYR is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse from Littelfuse's POLY-FUSE LoRho series — a low-resistance family designed to minimise voltage drop on low-voltage power rails. The device trips when the current reaches 8 A (typical), and the time to trip at that level is 5 s — fast enough to protect downstream components from sustained overcurrent without nuisance tripping on inrush. Maximum fault current handling is 50 A at 6 V, covering most low-voltage DC bus faults.
