Zener TVS diode for 111 V rail clamping
The 1.5SMC130A: Its 124 V minimum breakdown voltage triggers conduction before the protected circuitry sees the 179 V maximum clamping level at the 8.5 A peak pulse current (10/1000 µs waveform). General-purpose application class covers most DC power bus protection scenarios outside formal automotive grade qualification.
Housed in the standard DO-214AB (SMC) surface-mount package, the 1.5SMC130A mounts with the cathode tab identified by a band on the body. The SMC footprint is shared across the 1.5SMC series, so a single PCB land pattern serves the full voltage range from 5.0 V to 220 V — useful for BOM consolidation across multiple rail voltages. Power line protection is not supported — this is a unipolar rail clamp, not a bidirectional AC-line protector.
Tape & Reel and Cut Tape packaging options are available for both production reels and prototype quantities.
