Protection threshold and clamping performance
The 1.5KE43AG: The reverse standoff voltage is 36.8 V — the rail stays below this during normal operation. Breakdown occurs at 40.9 V minimum, and the clamping voltage at peak pulse current is 59.3 V max, limiting the transient to 25.3 A. Operating temperature spans -65°C to 175°C junction — suitable for industrial and automotive environments where thermal cycling is a factor. The DO-201AD axial package allows through-hole mounting on a PCB or terminal block.
General-purpose transient suppression
Classified as general-purpose (no power-line protection) — intended for signal and DC rail clamping in control, instrumentation, and power supply circuits. Single unidirectional channel; the cathode band marks the anode end for correct polarity in the circuit.
