130 I/O and 28.3K gates — what the logic budget buys
The OR2C10A4J160-DB is a Lattice ORCA™2 FPGA with 1024 logic elements (256 CLBs) and 28,300 usable gates — enough for medium-density glue logic, bus bridging, or a small state machine that would otherwise consume a handful of 44-pin PLDs. 130 user I/O on a surface-mount package gives the board designer room to fan out to a 16-bit data bus plus address and control lines without multiplexing the pins — the I/O count is the real constraint, not the gate budget. 16,384 bits of on-chip block RAM handle small FIFOs or register files; for anything larger you are looking at an external SRAM or SDRAM on the board.
Commercial temp grade and single-rail supply
If the board lives in a ventilated enclosure at room temperature it is fine; an unventilated cabinet near a motor drive or a rooftop installation will push the junction past the datasheet limit. Runs from a single 4.75 V supply rail — no core/IO split, no external regulator sequencing.
Active lifecycle — no LTB pressure yet
If the board was designed around this ORCA™2 part, the BOM position is locked to this order code until a redesign migrates to a newer family.
