9400 LEs, 384 I/O — the high-I/O MachXO3 variant
The Lattice LCMXO3LF-9400E-6BG484I is the highest-I/O member of the MachXO3 family, packing 9400 logic elements and 384 user I/O into a 484-ball CABGA (19x19 mm). With 1175 LABs/CLBs and 442368 bits of distributed block RAM, this FPGA handles moderate-density glue logic, bus bridging, and small state machines without external memory for FIFO or register file storage.
Industrial temp range and active lifecycle
ROHS3 compliant and surface-mount in a lead-free 484-LFBGA, it ships in tray packaging compatible with standard pick-and-place lines.
I/O count drives the package choice
The 384 I/O version (484-ball BGA) is the I/O-rich sibling compared to the 206-I/O LCMXO3LF-9400E-5BG256I, which shares the same 9400 LE count and 442 Kbit RAM but in a 256-ball BGA. If your design needs more than 206 I/O — for a wide memory bus, parallel LCD interface, or multiple SPI/I2C ports — the 484-ball variant provides the extra pins without moving to a larger FPGA family.
