2112 logic cells in a 100-pin QFP
The LCMXO2-2000HC-4TG100I is a Lattice MachXO2 FPGA with 2112 logic elements (the equivalent of 264 LABs/CLBs) and 79 user I/O in a 100-TQFP package measuring 14x14 mm. The 79 I/O count in a 100-pin package means 21 pins are dedicated to power, ground, and configuration — typical for a fine-pitch QFP at this density.
On-chip memory and logic density
The 75776 total RAM bits (distributed as EBR blocks in the MachXO2 architecture) provide enough storage for small FIFOs, coefficient look-up tables, or configuration registers without adding an external SRAM. For a glue-logic application bridging a 16-bit bus, the 2112 LEs handle address decoding, data muxing, and a small state machine with margin. The 100-TQFP package uses a 0.5 mm pitch — standard for four-layer board routing.
