10 macrocells, 15 ns — the classic 22V10 in a 5 V PLCC
The Lattice Semiconductor GAL22V10D-15LJN is a 10-macrocell EE PLD from the GAL®22V10 family, packing 15 ns maximum propagation delay (tpd) into a 28-lead PLCC (J-Lead) package. The 15 ns tpd means registered logic paths settle within 15 ns of the clock edge — fast enough for glue logic in 5 V systems running at up to about 66 MHz, though the actual toggle rate depends on the combinatorial depth and output loading.
PLCC footprint and hand-solderability
The 28-LCC (J-Lead) package, also known as 28-PLCC, has J-bend leads on a 1.27 mm pitch — hand-solderable with a fine tip and flux, though a hot-air rework station makes removal cleaner. The 11.51 mm x 11.51 mm body fits a standard PLCC-28 footprint with a centre pad that is not electrically connected. Surface-mount assembly with the J-lead profile gives a lower seated height than a DIP and better thermal cycling performance than gull-wing leads on the same pitch.
Lattice Semiconductor has marked the GAL22V10D-15LJN as Obsolete.
