The TPME227M016R0025: Rated 220 µF at 16 V with 25 mOhm ESR, this TPM series molded tantalum handles the ripple current from a 12 V or 5 V rail without the capacitor heating that would shorten life in a higher-ESR part. The 25 mOhm ESR keeps self-heating low at ripple currents typical for a buck converter output stage — a spec that matters when the cap sits in a confined enclosure with limited airflow.
