220 µF, 10 V, 100 mOhm ESR — the bulk decoupling fit
That puts it in avionics power supplies, downhole instrumentation, or satellite payloads where the board sees extremes. The molded construction keeps the case sealed against moisture better than a conformal-coated chip, so it survives thermal cycling without cracking the dielectric.
2917 D case — the footprint on the board
The 2917 (7343 Metric) D case measures 7.30 mm x 4.30 mm with a seated height of 3.10 mm. That footprint is common across the TPS D-size range, so if you have a 100 µF or 330 µF in the same voltage and case, the pad layout stays the same. The surface-mount package is tape-and-reel ready for pick-and-place.
No pin-compatible second source confirmed, but any 220 µF 10 V tantalum in the same D case with a 100 mOhm ESR or lower will fit the same pad and voltage rail.
