The TAJV108K004RNJ: This is a KYOCERA AVX TAJ series molded tantalum capacitor rated at 1000 µF and 4 V, in a 2924 (7361 Metric) surface-mount package. The 200 mOhm ESR keeps ripple voltage low on a 4 V rail, which matters when you are decoupling a 3.3 V or 1.8 V converter output and the ripple budget is tight. The molded construction gives consistent mechanical protection in high-vibration environments compared to conformal-coated chips.
