Molded 10 µF tantalum for tight boards
A 10 µF, 10 V molded tantalum in the 1206 (3216 metric) case — the TAJK106M010SNJ is a general-purpose bypass and decoupling cap from KYOCERA AVX's TAJ series. The 2.2 Ohm ESR at 10 µF is typical for this case size and voltage rating; it limits ripple current to a few hundred mA RMS, so it works for supply rail smoothing but isn't a low-ESR replacement for a polymer cap in a high-ripple converter output.
Temperature grade and what it buys
This cap stays within spec under the hood, in outdoor base stations, or on an engine-bay ECU board where ambient hits 105°C with self-heating on top.
