The TAJE157M016ANJ is a 150 µF, 16 V molded tantalum capacitor in the TAJ series from KYOCERA AVX. Its 300 mOhm ESR at 100 kHz sets the ripple current capability and output voltage ripple for a bulk decoupling role on a 12 V or lower rail — the 16 V rating gives headroom above the nominal 12 V bus, covering transients without derating stress.
