AEC-Q200 automotive qualification
The TAJD106K025UNJV: Rated AEC-Q200 — the capacitor meets the automotive stress profile: temperature cycling, moisture resistance, and mechanical shock per the AEC-Q200 qualification flow. This is the baseline for any PPAP submission on an ECU or sensor module.
10 µF, 25 V — core parametric fit
10 µF capacitance at 25 V rated voltage, ±10% tolerance. This is a common decoupling value for 3.3 V and 5 V rails in automotive modules — the 25 V rating provides derating margin against load-dump transients on a 12 V bus. ESR is 1.2 Ohm at 100 kHz. For a 10 µF cap, this ESR limits ripple current to roughly 400 mA RMS at 100 kHz — enough for most linear regulator output filtering but check the ripple current budget if the cap sits on a switching regulator output.
Package and footprint — 2917 D-case
2917 (7343 Metric) case, size code D. Dimensions 7.30 mm x 4.30 mm, seated height 3.10 mm max. The footprint matches standard 2917 tantalum pads — no layout change needed if replacing another D-case tantalum. Surface-mount, supplied on tape and reel. The molded case construction gives consistent dimensions for pick-and-place — no conformal-coating issues on the side seams.
