With 500 mOhm ESR at 1 kHz, the internal resistance limits the peak discharge current — a 330 mF cap at 8.1 V delivers roughly 16 A peak into a short circuit, but the ESR dominates the voltage sag under load. The -10% to +30% capacitance tolerance means the minimum capacitance is 297 mF; a design relying on the nominal value must account for the low-side margin.
Thermal endurance and operating range
Rated for 1000 hours at 65°C, this is the expected lifetime under continuous rated voltage and temperature — derating both voltage and temperature extends life beyond the nominal figure. Operating temperature spans -40°C to 65°C, suitable for outdoor or industrial enclosures that see seasonal extremes but stay below the upper limit.
Through-hole radial integration
Radial can package with 0.531-inch (13.50 mm) lead spacing and PC pin termination — mounts on a standard 13.5 mm pitch through-hole footprint.
