What this MAX 10 FPGA brings to the board
The Intel 10M50SCE144A7G is a MAX® 10 FPGA delivering 50,000 logic elements and 1,677,312 bits of embedded RAM in a 144-EQFP package with 101 user I/O. It operates from a 2.85 V to 3.465 V supply and is rated across the full industrial temperature range of -40°C to 125°C (TJ), making it suitable for motor drives, outdoor telecom, and engine-bay control modules where ambient heat and cold soak are design constraints. The non-volatile configuration storage eliminates the need for an external configuration memory, which simplifies the BOM and reduces board area.
Package and mounting
The 144-EQFP package (20x20 mm) is a surface-mount footprint with a centre thermal pad. The exposed pad must be soldered to a ground plane for rated thermal performance.
