1.1 A hold, 16 V — the three numbers that define this PTC
The 0ZCJ0110AF2C is a polymeric PTC resettable fuse from Bel Fuse's 0ZCJ series, rated for 1.1 A hold current (Ih) and 2.2 A trip current (It) at 16 V max. Those three numbers — hold, trip, voltage — are the selection gate: the PTC stays low-resistance below 1.1 A, transitions above 2.2 A, and must not see a sustained voltage over 16 V or it fails to trip cleanly. Initial resistance (Ri) is 40 mOhm minimum; post-trip resistance (R1) rises to 180 mOhm maximum.
AEC-Q200 — automotive-grade qualification
Rated AEC-Q200, this PTC is qualified for automotive electronics — the stress tests (thermal shock, vibration, moisture resistance, solder heat) align with under-hood and cabin module requirements. Approvals include cURus and TUV — accepted in North American and European equipment without a separate component-level safety review.
1206 SMD concave — footprint and reflow
The concave terminal design leaves the end caps exposed for solder fillet inspection — typical reflow profile follows a 260°C peak, 30-second above 217°C for lead-free solder. No lead-spacing dimension applies; this is a two-terminal chip, not a radial-leaded PTC.
Active — no end-of-life concern
No last-time-buy window, no successor — the 0ZCJ0110AF2C is current production.
