Temperature grade and operating envelope
The 24 mA typical supply current keeps quiescent draw low for always-on modules in battery-backed systems, though the actual system-level current budget depends on the external load the PMIC regulates. The 28-WFQFN exposed-pad package (5x5 mm body, 28-SWTQFN) includes wettable flanks — a feature that enables automated optical inspection (AOI) of solder fillets after reflow, a requirement for automotive production lines that cannot rely on X-ray alone.
Package and board-fit for automotive assembly
Supplied in Tube format — standard for prototype and low-volume builds. For high-volume pick-and-place, confirm whether the reel option (if available) is preferred. The 5x5 mm QFN with exposed pad requires a thermal via array under the paddle per the datasheet land pattern; the pad's solder paste coverage must be controlled to avoid voiding under the die attach area.
