Product details

Boost LED driver with six regulated channels

The LT3598IUF#PBF is a DC DC regulator in a step-up (boost) topology, part of Analog Devices' True Color PWM™ series. It drives up to six LED strings, each regulated at 30 mA, with a maximum output voltage of 44 V. The switching frequency is programmable from 200 kHz to 2.5 MHz, letting you trade off inductor size against efficiency.

Wide input and temperature range

Dimming is supported via both analog and PWM methods, giving flexibility for color mixing or brightness control in display backlighting and architectural lighting.

Housed in a 24-lead WFQFN with exposed pad (4 mm × 4 mm), the part is surface-mount and hand-solderable with a hot-air station — the exposed pad helps thermal management. The supplier device package is 24-QFN (4x4). Supplied in tube packaging, suitable for prototype runs and small-batch production. The ROHS3 compliance means no lead, mercury, or cadmium restrictions for EU markets.

Frequently asked questions

What is the closest functional second-source — LT3598EUF#PBF?

The LT3598EUF#PBF is a peer with the same core specifications (6 outputs, 30 mA, boost topology, 200 kHz–2.5 MHz) but in a different package — 24-TSSOP exposed pad vs the 24-QFN of the IUF variant. The EFEs (LT3598EFE#PBF) and IFEs (LT3598IFE#TRPBF) share the same die but differ in package and temperature range. Confirm the footprint before substituting.
