Military-temperature op-amp in a hermetic can
The 44 V supply span (minimum and maximum both 44 V) means it runs on a single 44 V rail or split supplies like ±22 V, covering the common industrial and military power buses. Supply current is 1.8 mA, input bias current 30 nA, and input offset voltage 700 µV — respectable for a general-purpose part of this era.
Package and mounting — through-hole only
The TO-99-8 metal can is a through-hole package with eight leads arranged in a circular pattern. It is not a surface-mount part, so the board must accommodate plated through-holes. The hermetic seal makes it suitable for high-reliability and sealed-environment applications where moisture or outgassing is a concern.
Note that it is RoHS non-compliant (lead-bearing), so designs requiring RoHS exemption or military/defence waivers should plan accordingly.
