35 A, 600 V — the bulk rectification workhorse
The GBPC3506-E4/51: The Vishay GBPC3506-/51 is a single-phase bridge rectifier in the industry-standard GBPC 4-Square package, rated for 35 A average rectified output at a 600 V peak reverse voltage.
QC-terminal mounting and thermal path
The QC terminal (quick-connect tab) mounting style is the defining mechanical feature — it pushes through a panel or clips onto a heatsink, with the four solderless tabs taking the AC input and DC output wires. No PCB footprint needed; the rectifier sits off-board, which simplifies thermal management in high-current supplies where trace resistance and board heating become limiting. The 5 µA reverse leakage at 600 V is a room-temperature figure — leakage doubles roughly every 10°C above 25°C, so at 125°C junction it will be higher, but the 150°C abs-max ceiling gives margin for transient overloads.
