25 A average, 200 V peak — the rectifier for a 115 VAC line
The GBPC2502W-E4/51: The GBPC2502W-/51 is a Vishay single-phase bridge rectifier rated for 25 A average rectified output current (Io) and 200 V peak reverse voltage (Vrrm). That 200 V peak reverse means it comfortably handles a 115 VAC input line (which peaks at ~162 V) with margin, but not a 230 VAC line (peak ~325 V). At full 25 A load, expect the drop to climb a bit, which drives the heat sink requirement for continuous duty. Reverse leakage is just 5 µA at the rated 200 V blocking voltage, so stand-by power loss in the off half-cycle is negligible.
GBPC-W package — board or chassis mount
Housed in the 4-Square GBPC-W package, this is a through-hole part with a square footprint and a central hole for a bolt or screw mount to a heat sink or chassis. The metal baseplate is electrically isolated from the die but thermally coupled — torque it down with a thermal interface pad for continuous 25 A operation.
