100 Ohm on-resistance sets the signal ceiling
The TC7W53FK,LF is a dual 2:1 analog multiplexer/demultiplexer from Toshiba Semiconductor, built for routing analog or digital signals in mixed-voltage systems. Its 100 Ohm max on-state resistance defines the insertion loss and bandwidth — for a 10 kOhm load the voltage divider eats about 1% of the signal, which is negligible for most ADC front-ends, but a high-impedance sensor sees more attenuation.
Two channels, one footprint
Two independent 2:1 channels let you switch two separate signal paths — for example, selecting between two sensor inputs or two gain-setting resistors — without adding a second IC. The 8-VFSOP package with a 2.30 mm body width and 0.091-inch pitch fits tight PCB layouts; the supplier device package is 8-SSOP, so the footprint matches standard SSOP-8 land patterns. Surface-mount assembly is the only option; no through-hole variant exists.
