Package and board-fit for the 8-SSOP
The TC7W14FU,LF ships in an 8-SSOP package, which is the supplier-device equivalent of the 8-TSSOP / 8-MSOP footprint (2.80 mm body width). The 0.65 mm pin pitch and 0.10 mm standoff mean the solder-paste stencil aperture for each pad should be about 0.30 mm wide to avoid bridging on the tight pitch. Surface-mount only — no through-hole variant in this series. The tape-and-reel option (TR) is standard for pick-and-place; the cut-tape (CT) option suits prototype or low-volume builds where a full reel is not justified.
Schmitt-trigger input thresholds and noise margin
Three independent inverter channels, each with Schmitt-trigger inputs. The low-level threshold spans 0.3 V to 1.5 V, and the high-level threshold spans 1.5 V to 4.2 V — both referenced to the supply rail. That hysteresis, roughly 1.2 V at Vcc=5 V, rejects noise on slow edges that a standard CMOS gate would oscillate on. That sets the data-rate ceiling at roughly 24 MHz for a single channel — adequate for debouncing switch inputs or conditioning sensor edges in a 20 MHz clocked system.
Supply range and quiescent draw
The 1 µA max quiescent current means the device adds negligible standby drain in a battery-powered sensor node that stays awake for edge detection.
Temperature grade and production status
Suitable for outdoor telecom enclosures, factory-floor controllers, and automotive cabin modules that do not see under-hood extremes.
