Logic function and supply flexibility
The TC7SH02F,LJ(CT is a single 2-input NOR gate from Toshiba's TC7SH series, a high-speed CMOS logic family. It performs the NOR Boolean function on two inputs and outputs the inverted OR result. The input logic thresholds scale with VCC: low at 0.5V, high at 1.5V, which means it interprets a 0.8V signal as a logic low and a 2.0V signal as a logic high when running at 5V. Quiescent current maxes at 2 µA, making it suitable for battery-powered or always-on sections where standing current matters. Output drive is symmetrical at 8 mA source and sink, enough to fan out to a few standard CMOS loads or drive a low-speed LED indicator directly.
Propagation delay and temperature range
Maximum propagation delay is 7.5 ns at 5V supply with a 50 pF load. This sets the data-rate ceiling for the gate in a synchronous path — at 5V, the gate can pass a 66 MHz clock edge with about half a period of margin before setup times get tight. Propagation delay will increase by roughly 30% at the hot end compared to the 25°C typical, so budget extra timing margin if the gate sits in a 85°C ambient enclosure.
Housed in an SC-74A (SOT-753) package, with supplier device package designation SMV. This is a 5-pin small-outline transistor package with a 0.95 mm pitch and 2.9 mm body length — a standard footprint that places cleanly with no tombstoning risk on a typical leaded reflow profile. Surface-mount only. The tape-and-reel or cut-tape packaging options suit both automated pick-and-place and prototype hand-assembly. No moisture-sensitive level is stated in the record, but the SOT-753 body is small enough that popcorning is unlikely even without a pre-bake — still, check the MSL on the reel label before the oven.
Product status is Active per the manufacturer. No stock-holding claim — each BOM quantity is quoted fresh.
