Integrated brushed DC driver — parametric fit
The TC78H610FNG,EL: This is a fully integrated driver — control logic and power stage in one package — for brushed DC motors, using DMOS output transistors that keep conduction losses lower than a bipolar Darlington stage at the same current. Rated 800 mA continuous output current per half bridge, with a load voltage range of 2.5 V to 15 V, so it covers small pumps, fans, solenoid actuators, and position-adjustment motors running on common 5 V, 12 V, or 9 V battery rails.
Surface-mount assembly; the tape-and-reel option supports automated pick-and-place for volume builds, while cut-tape quantities are available for prototyping or low-volume runs.
Temperature grade and deployment context
Rated for -20°C to 85°C ambient operation — this is the industrial temperature floor, not the full automotive range, but it covers most indoor equipment, consumer appliances, and commercial HVAC actuator applications. At 85°C ambient the DMOS Rds(on) increases roughly 1.5× over the 25°C value, so the 800 mA rating should be derated if the PCB copper area under the package is limited — a 1 oz copper pour on the top layer under the body helps keep junction temperature below the 125°C abs-max.
