PFC controller in CCM — 65 kHz fixed frequency
The Texas Instruments UCC28019D is a power-factor-correction (PFC) controller operating in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM) at a fixed 65 kHz switching frequency. It accepts a supply voltage from 10 V to 21 V and draws only 100 µA at startup, keeping the bias burden low during the initial power-up sequence.
8-SOIC package — layout and thermal fit
The surface-mount package is supplied in Tube format; the narrow body keeps the PCB area per controller under 30 mm² including the decoupling capacitor.
