Dual 4A low-side driver with wide supply and temperature range
The UCC27325DGN is a dual-channel low-side gate driver from Texas Instruments, delivering 4A peak source and 4A peak sink current per channel. That 4A symmetric drive handles the gate charge of medium-power MOSFETs without excessive switching loss, and the independent channels let you drive one N-channel and one P-channel FET from the same package. Supply range is 4.5V to 15V, covering 5V and 12V rails common in industrial control, DC-DC converters, and motor-drive gate stages.
20ns/15ns edge rates and logic-threshold flexibility
Typical rise time is 20ns and fall time is 15ns — fast enough to keep cross-conduction losses low in a 500 kHz half-bridge, but tight enough that the gate-loop inductance must stay under 10 nH per layout. The logic input thresholds (VIL = 1V, VIH = 2V) are compatible with 3.3V and 5V controllers directly, no level-shifter needed. Compared to the LM5106MM/NOPB half-bridge driver (1.2A peak, -40°C to 125°C), the UCC27325DGN offers over 3× the drive current and a wider temperature range, but it is a low-side-only topology — you pair two of them for a full bridge, whereas the LM5106 integrates the high-side bootstrap.

The 8-HVSSOP (0.118-inch body, 3.00 mm width) with exposed pad helps thermal transfer to the PCB copper plane — critical when sinking 4A gate-drive pulses at high frequency. Tube shipment is the standard delivery format.
