Product details

4A peak drive, 20ns rise — what it buys the switching stage

The UCC27324D delivers 4A peak source and 4A peak sink current, enough to slam the gate of a large N-channel or P-channel MOSFET on and off fast. Typical rise time is 20ns, fall time 15ns — that keeps switching losses low in a 100kHz+ converter and gives clean edges for the downstream stage.

Runs from a 4.5V to 15V supply, so it works off a 5V or 12V bias rail without an extra regulator. The logic thresholds are 1V (VIL) and 2V (VIH) — 3.3V logic drives it directly, no level shifter needed.

Supplied in Tube; the base number is UCC27324.

Frequently asked questions

Is UCC27324D a direct replacement for UCC27324?

Yes — UCC27324D is the standard 8-SOIC variant of the base number UCC27324. The 'D' suffix denotes the package (8-SOIC). Electrical ratings are identical.

Is UCC27324D compatible with 3.3V logic?

Yes — the logic thresholds are VIL = 1V, VIH = 2V, so a 3.3V logic output drives the input high reliably.
