Half-bridge gate driver with 4A peak drive
It delivers 4A peak source and 4A peak sink current, with a typical rise time of 7.8ns and fall time of 6ns — fast enough to drive the gate charge of a 50 nC MOSFET at several hundred kilohertz without excessive cross-conduction loss. The two driver channels are independent and non-inverting, giving the designer separate control over the high-side and low-side FETs. The bootstrap supply is rated to 100 V maximum, which sets the DC-link ceiling for the half-bridge topology.
Operating supply range is 7 V to 17 V, covering the common 12 V gate-drive rail used in industrial and automotive power converters. The junction temperature range extends from -40°C to 140°C, allowing deployment in motor-drive cabinets, under-hood electronics, and outdoor telecom rectifiers where ambient temperatures push past 85°C.
