Half-bridge driver with 4A peak drive and 120 V bootstrap ceiling
The Texas Instruments UCC27211DDA is a high-frequency half-bridge gate driver for N-channel MOSFETs, delivering 4 A peak source and sink current with a 120 V bootstrap maximum for the high-side channel. The 7.2 ns rise and 5.5 ns fall times (typical) keep switching losses low in hard-switched topologies.
Supply range and logic thresholds for BOM-fit
Supply voltage range is 8 V to 17 V, covering standard 12 V gate-drive rails and allowing margin for bootstrap recharge. The two channels are independent and non-inverting, so the same PWM signal can drive both the high-side and low-side FETs with the appropriate dead-time inserted externally by the controller.
