Dropout and protection — sizing the headroom
Maximum dropout is 0.308 V at the full 200 mA load. Over-current, over-temperature, and UVLO protection are built in. The junction temperature range is -40°C to 125°C.
Package and mounting
Housed in a three-pin SOT-23-3 (also known as TO-236-3 / SC-59), this is a surface-mount part with a small footprint — suitable for compact PCBs where board area is tight. The single output pin and single ground pin keep the layout simple; the enable pin is the third connection. The part is available in Tape & Reel or Cut Tape options for prototyping or production reels.
