1.5 V fixed rail, 50 mA capacity — what it fits
It is built for low-power local rails — think MCU core supply, sensor bias, or always-on standby power — where the load stays under 50 mA and the input rail is 10 V max. The 28 µA quiescent current makes it a candidate for battery-powered or energy-harvesting designs where every microamp of overhead matters. The output is fixed at 1.5 V with no adjust pin, so the BOM must already call for that exact rail.
