2A step-down with D-CAP2 control
The TPS54226PWPR is a Texas Instruments SWIFT™ family synchronous buck regulator delivering 2 A continuous output from a 2 V to 18 V input rail. The D-CAP2 architecture provides fast transient response without external compensation — the loop stabilises around the output capacitor ESR, so the BOM stays small for point-of-load rails on multi-voltage boards.
Adjustable output and switching frequency
Synchronous rectification eliminates the external Schottky diode, and the Eco-Mode™ pulse-skipping scheme holds efficiency above 80 % down to light loads.
14-HTSSOP with exposed thermal pad
Housed in a 14-pin HTSSOP with an exposed pad (PowerPAD™), the package conducts heat to the PCB ground plane.
