Three-phase output for high-current rails
With three outputs and three phases, the TPS53632RSMT is designed to drive a multi-phase buck converter for loads like DDR memory VDDQ or core voltage on a server motherboard. Each phase shares the current, reducing ripple and spreading thermal load. The switching frequency is programmable from 300 kHz to 1 MHz, letting you trade inductor size against efficiency. The I²C bus provides digital control of the output voltage and fault monitoring — a step up from analog-only controllers.
Active lifecycle — no end-of-life risk
It is ROHS3 compliant. For new designs or BOM refreshes, this part is available through independent distribution and is sourced to order against an RFQ — no last-time-buy window to track.
Package and footprint notes
The 32-VQFN (4x4 mm) with exposed pad requires a thermal via array under the pad for adequate heat transfer to the PCB ground plane. Surface-mount assembly is standard; the exposed pad is the primary thermal path.
