Input range and output current — what they mean for the BOM
The 3.3 V minimum and 5 V maximum input voltage define a narrow-VIN part for regulated 3.3 V or 5 V buses.
Switching frequency trade-off
Select 700 kHz for better efficiency at higher input voltages or lighter loads; select 1 MHz to shrink the inductor and output capacitor values. At 1 MHz the switching losses are higher, but the passives footprint shrinks — a meaningful choice when board area is tight. The D-CAP+™ architecture gives fast transient response without external compensation, which simplifies the BOM.
Temperature grade and environment
Rated for -40°C to 85°C ambient. That is industrial temperature, not automotive — no AEC-Q100 qualification here. Suitable for base-station line cards, networking equipment, industrial control boards, and test instrumentation.
Lifecycle and sourcing
No last-time-buy risk.
