Dual 5.8V threshold for 12V battery or 5V overvoltage monitoring
Each channel monitors a 5.8V threshold — an unusual value that suits a 12V battery divided down or a 5V rail overvoltage trip point, not a standard undervoltage reset. Both channels share the same 5.8V threshold, so the part can monitor two independent rails at the same voltage, or one rail with redundant detection for fail-safe architectures.
Active-low output with open-drain or push-pull flexibility
The reset output is active low and configurable as open-drain or push-pull, giving the designer a choice between wired-OR capability (open-drain) or a driven high/low rail (push-pull) without an external pull-up resistor. The 100µs maximum reset timeout is short enough to catch a supply glitch before downstream logic corrupts a frame, but long enough to ignore normal ripple on the monitored rail.
