The TPS38700C03NRGERQ1 is a dedicated power-supply sequencer from Texas Instruments, qualified to AEC-Q100 for automotive use. It manages the power-up and power-down order of multiple voltage rails in an ECU, preventing latch-up or undefined states during transitions. Input range spans 2.2V to 5.5V, so it can be fed from a 3.3V or 5V rail directly — no extra regulator needed for the sequencer itself. Quiescent current is 45 µA, making it suitable for always-on domains where the sequencer must stay alive during key-off or battery-backup modes.
Automotive-grade qualification and temperature envelope
Texas Instruments lists the product status as Active, with no NRND or obsolescence flags. The ROHS3 compliance and wettable-flank package support lead-free reflow and automated optical inspection in production.
Package and mounting for the board designer
Supplied in a 24-VFQFN with exposed pad (4x4 mm body), the package features wettable flanks for side-wetting inspection.
