Automotive supervisor with AEC-Q100 traceability
It monitors a single 3.3V supply and asserts an active-low, open-drain reset output when the voltage drops below the threshold. The open-drain topology allows the reset line to be shared with other supervisors or pulled up to a different logic voltage.
Temperature range and threshold accuracy
At 125°C junction, the threshold accuracy and output drive are still within the datasheet limits — a common derating concern for supervisors used near hot exhaust or turbocharger paths. The 3.3V threshold is the standard rail for automotive MCUs (e.g., TI TMS570, NXP S32K) and sensor supplies. The adjustable/selectable reset timeout lets the designer match the reset hold period to the power-up sequence of the downstream processor, avoiding premature release or brown-out chatter.
Package and footprint for automotive PCB
Supplied in an 8-VDFN exposed pad package, also designated 8-SON (3x3 mm). Mounting is surface-mount, compatible with standard reflow profiles.
ROHS3 compliant. The base product number is TPS3852; the H33 suffix denotes the 3.3V threshold variant, and the QDRBRQ1 suffix encodes the 8-SON package and automotive qualification. The part can be scheduled into regular production without sourcing risk.
