Supervisor for a 5V rail — threshold and timeout
The TPS3839K50DQNT is a single-channel voltage supervisor that asserts a reset output when the monitored supply drops below 4.38V. That threshold is a good fit for a nominal 5V rail — it gives roughly 12% undervoltage margin before the reset fires, which keeps the downstream processor out of brownout territory. The reset timeout is a minimum of 120ms, long enough for most MCU and SoC power-on-reset sequences to complete before the part de-asserts.
