0.9V threshold — why it matters for low-voltage rails
The TPS3839A09DBZT monitors a single supply rail and asserts a reset when the voltage drops to 0.9V. That threshold is designed for 1.8V or 1.2V core supplies — the supervisor catches a brownout before the logic rails collapse into undefined states. The reset output is active-low push-pull, so it drives the reset pin of an MCU or FPGA directly without needing an external pull-up resistor. The 120ms minimum timeout holds the reset long enough for the supply to settle after power-up or a glitch.
