2.25V threshold for 2.5V rail supervision
The TPS3838J25DBVT monitors a single 2.5V supply rail, asserting a reset when the voltage drops to 2.25V. That 250 mV margin below nominal gives the regulator time to respond before the processor sees a brownout. Reset output is active-low, open-drain — the standard interface for most MCU and DSP reset inputs. The open-drain allows a shared pull-up resistor and lets the supervisor drive the line low without contention.
The SOT-23-5 package is a 5-pin footprint, easily hand-solderable and common on compact PCBs.
