2.93 V threshold supervisor — active-high output
The TPS3837K33DBVT is a Texas Instruments Simple Reset/Power-On Reset IC that monitors a single supply rail and asserts a reset signal when the voltage drops below 2.93 V. The active-high push-pull output means the reset pin goes high when the supply is out of tolerance — the opposite of the more common active-low supervisor. If your processor or FPGA expects a high during reset, this is the correct polarity; if it expects a low, you need a different part or an external inverter.
The SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A) is a standard 5-pin footprint — easy to hand-solder in rework and fits a 2-layer PCB without fan-out issues.
