2.25V threshold — which rail it guards
The TPS3836J25DBVT is a single-channel voltage supervisor from TI's TPS3836 family, built to hold a micro-controller or DSP in reset until the monitored supply stabilises. Its 2.25V threshold targets a 2.5V rail — common for DDR memory VDDQ, FPGA core supplies, or low-voltage I/O banks.
Active-low push-pull — no external pull-up needed
The reset output is active-low push-pull, which means it drives both high and low without an external pull-up resistor. This simplifies the board layout and saves a component compared to open-drain supervisors.
Industrial temperature range in a SOT-23-5
The SOT-23-5 package (SC-74A) is a standard footprint shared with many other supervisors, so a PCB layout change is not required if you swap to a pin-compatible sibling in the same family.
