Single-rail watchdog for 1.8V logic
The TPS3836E18DBVT is a simple reset/power-on reset IC from Texas Instruments that monitors a single voltage rail and holds the reset output active-low until the supply stabilizes above the 1.71V threshold.
Threshold and timeout — what they mean on the board
The 1.71V threshold is set for a 1.8V nominal supply rail — if that rail dips below 1.71V, even briefly, the reset asserts and stays low for at least 10ms after the rail recovers. That 10ms window is the minimum guaranteed; actual timeout can be longer but never shorter, so the downstream device sees a clean, glitch-free reset pulse.
